This paper will examine the realistic versus the representative nature of the characters within George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire", and attempt to render judgement upon how much or how little Martin's historical/heroic fantasy hybrid novel series conforms to the norms of fantasy characterization as dictated by the aforementioned critics.Bachelor of Art
